In the event of large-scale crisis situations or natural disasters, Riverview Children’s Foundation responds by directing its supporters to organisation's that are providing emergency relief for the victims.

Pakistan Flood Relief Appeal

Riverview Children's Foundation is encouraging its supporters to give to the Pakistan Flood Relief Appeal.

More than 1,600 people have been killed and up to 20 million people  (the same size as the Australian population) are affected by the  floods.

According to UNICEF some 6 million children are either lost, orphaned or sick from unsafe drinking water.   Conditions are appalling and unhygienic and outbreaks of cholera have been reported.

Gospel for Asia (GFA) has teams on the ground in north Western Pakistan providing emergency aid in the form of food, shelter, clean drinking water and other household necessities, counselling and support to the victims.
